Carpegna Prosciutto Basket Pesaro announced that it has reached an agreement to bring back Andrea Cinciarini to the red and white jersey. Playmaker class of 1986, the career of ‘Cinciarini’ began in the Youth Sector of the Pesaro club with which he made his debut in October 2003 in the top league.

In 2004/2005 he defends the colors of Virtus Pesaro, then è the time of experiences in Senigallia (B d’Eccellenza), Pistoia, Montegranaro and Cantù. In 2012 he began his journey with the jersey of Reggio Emilia, which made him known to the general public: with the Emilians he won the’EuroChallenge – being elected MVP of the tournament – and then reached the final scudetto.

In’summer 2015 he moved to’Olimpia Milano, later becoming its captain in 2016. As many as six are Cinciarini’s seasons with the Milanese jersey in which he takes great satisfaction, as evidenced by winning two scudetti, three Coppe Italia and four Supercoppe Italiane.

In the summer of 2021 he returned to Reggio Emilia, writing a page of history in the league thanks to the triple double he scored in the match against Treviso: it was an absolute first. Cinciarini has an important connection with records: on January 8, 2023, he becomes the active player with the most assists in Serie A.

For 2023/2024, he decides to open a new chapter in his long career: in fact, for the first time he moves beyond the national borders, accepting the proposal of Zaragoza, a formation engaged in the Spanish top league and also in the continental field, in the Europe Cup.

Cinciarini also boasts participation in four editions of the European Championships with the Azzurri national team jersey. Now he returns home, to his Pesaro.
