Sofia Goggia doesn’t hide surprise

After her clear victory in the SuperG in St. Moritz, Sofia Goggia bluntly analyzed her performance. In addition, the skier from Bergamo did not hide her surprise regarding the important gaps she trimmed from the rest of her opponents.

"The SuperG in St. Moritz, even in perfect conditions, is è never easy. Today you had to put speed into the right sections and I think I did that. I started a little bit slow, as always, in the middle part where I made the difference, actually I always felt a little bit long, but I was fast and I honestly did not expect to win with 95 hundredths ahead of the second" began the skier from Bergamo.

"When I got to the finish line I did not have the best feeling, I had to make it up along the course. The route in the giant l'I had to take it by force, because I needed a more solid technical base. There was curiosity to start with speed, the tests of the past few days went quite well and now we have to go to the maximum both tomorrow and the day after tomorrow" added Sofia Goggia.
