Fabio Quartararo doesn’t rule out a Marc Marquez move
Fabio Quartararo does not rule out farewell to Yamaha at the end of 2024
Fabio Quartararo è the top Yamaha rider for several seasons now and è still alive in the memory of fans his world title, won in 2021. Yet the relationship between the Frenchman and the House of the Three Tuning Forks began to crack in this 2023, a season of few highs and many lows, in which only three podiums came in full GPs and one in Sprint Race (all third places).
'El Diablo' still wants to give another opportunity to the reality that made him world champion, but talking to 'Autosport' he tried to define ways and times: "Of course, as a rider, Yamaha gave me the opportunity to be in MotoGp, with them I won a title. And with them I would like to return to victory" said Quartararo.
"We have been both at the top and in the rear, I would like to return to the top,” added the French rider, born in Nice on April 20, 1999 and in MotoGp from the 2019 season. The fact, forò, è that there's very little time to return to success and also convince me that what we have undertaken is a winning project".
Should the results not come back, Quartararo does not rule out a Marc Marquez-like move: "Certainly,” he said, “if I realized that I did not have a winning project on my hands and I realized that in order to have it I would have to leave, I would take that step. Però I see that Yamaha is pushing hard. I would love to get back in front with this bike".
