Jannik Sinner è the most searched sportsman in Italy in 2023: the Italian tennis player è the first in the ranking of the people who have recorded the greatest increase in searches during the year.

The South Tyrolean athlete, who was able to drag Italy to the second Davis Cup in its history, was ahead of Roma striker Romelu Lukaku. In the special ranking of personalities Sinner also beat Peppino Di Capri, Marta Fascina, Chiara Francini, Elly Schlein, Andrea Giambruno, Francesca Fagnani and Luis Ranieri.

The tennis player from San Candido is training assiduously in Alicante, Spain, ahead of the Australian Open in January. Also with him is 20-year-old rising star Luca Nardi.

Jannik posted a video on social in which he can be seen dribbling in the sunshine of the city located in the Comunitatà Valenciana, in ideal weather as he prepares for the upcoming Australian Open, the first Grand Slam tournament in 2024, which kicks off on Jan. 14.
