Jose Mourinho breaks silence: the Roma coach has it in for everyone
José Mourinho breaks silence
José Mourinho, after defecting from the press conference on the sidelines of Roma-Fiorentina (a match that ended 1-1 and was marked by the expulsions of Nicola Zalewski and Romelu Lukaku, both of whom were contested on the pitch by the Giallorossi bench, entrusted Instagram with his thoughts, both positive and negative, on what happened on the very intense evening at the Olimpico.
Four photos posted by the Special One, each accompanied by an explanation: the first è the embrace with Nicolas Burdisso, current technical director of Fiorentina but above all one of the players coached by the Portuguese at Inter, who then went to Roma in the season in which the Nerazzurri would later win the Triplete.
The second photo, on the other hand, depicts the banner dedicated by the Curva Sud at the Stadio Olimpico to the Setubal coach: "The eyes intoxicated with yellow and red, the soul pervaded by Romanism… José Mourinho Romanist for life". To comment on the image, Mourinho simply chose to write three times "Thank you".
Then the polemical note: the frame of a harsh contrast subìto by a Roma player, from the dynamic reminiscent of the one that then, in the final of the match against Fiorentina, to the red against Lukaku. Referring to this image, Mourinho wrote, quoting Cicero: "Silence è one of the great arts of conversation". Finally, the reference to the note entrusted in the recovery to a ball boy, who then delivered it to Rui Patricio: "That was me 50 years ago – wrote Mourinho -. well done, boy".
