Zlatan Ibrahimovic is returning to AC Milan. At a very delicate moment for the fate of the Rossoneri season, defeated in the league and one step away from elimination from the Champions League, è finally came the white smoke for the return of the charismatic leader to Milanello. "RedBird Capital Partners,” the statement read, “announced today the appointment of Zlatan Ibrahimovic as an Operating Partner for its investment portfolio in the Sports, Media and Entertainment sectors. In this capacity, he will also serve as Senior Advisor to the Ownership and Senior Management of AC Milan.
The former Malmoe forward will therefore be in contact with the team and with Stefano Pioli, with whom è he is on excellent terms. The news had been anticipated by Ibra himself to the 'Financial Times' Ibrahimovic: "RedBird has collaborated with some of the world's greatest athletes, teams and business figures to create activities with meaning and impact. I look forward to contributing to their activities by investing in their sports, media and entertainment activities".
