Here are the words of Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri after the 2-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid in the’last match of the Champions League group stage.

"I am a bit angry, we came in a difficult stadium against a level opponent, but what we created we did not take advantage of. I am sorry for the initial approach to the two halves. Against strong opponents we did our best”.
