Milan, endless trouble: bad news from Pobega and Okafor
The injury curse at AC Milan continues: there are 29 physical troubles that Stefano Pioli’s squad has had to endure in the first months of the season. On Sunday two more players were forced to sit out the match against Monza, Tommaso Pobega and Noah Okafor. And for both of them, the news is not comforting after examinations sustained earlier in the day.
Pobega is even likely to undergo surgery for the hip problem, and will be examined again in the coming days. Okafor, on the other hand, has a muscle injury.
Pobega, Sky reports, suffered an injury involving the tendon component of the rectus femoris that inserts into the left hip: the injury will be checked again by a specialist, and then the most appropriate treatment will be chosen.
Okafor, who came out in the final game, suffered an injury of a deep flexor muscle, the semimembranosus, and will be re-evaluated again in a week. Both will miss the Rossoneri’s next commitments, against Salernitana and Sassuolo.
