Milan manager Franco Baresi was in Nyon to comment on the Europa League playoff draw that pitted the Rossoneri against Rennes: "We know that in soccer we must never underestimate anyone. We have to be ambitious. The French are always particular, but for what Milan represents we have to think about winning".
"We will need Milan-like motivation, we think big but always with respect. Scudetto or Europa League? I think we don’t have to choose, Milan has to play every competition in which è present. In the league we are at the beginning: we want to return to the Champions League and improve our ranking. When we recover everyone we will be even more competitive".
On the team's up-and-down performance: "We haven't had continuity, but we knew the Champions League round was difficult. The championship è still long, we have shown that the full team and with enthusiasm canò go all the way. We are still at the’beginning of the season, we can do well".
