Inter's outside player Juan Cuadrado è underwent surgery in Finland by Professor Lasse Lempainen: the lysis surgery on the left achilles tendon è was perfectly successful, reports the Nerazzurri club. Now the Colombian player will begin rehabilitation: he will be back on the field not earlier than three months. "I did everything to recover", Cuadrado wrote on social.
"I have struggled with tendon pain and I have done everything an athlete can do to recover, and I have also trained and played with pain that sometimes becomes unbearable and does not allow me to give 100 percent. I have gone through all treatment options avoiding surgery, but the doctors tell me that it could be worse if I don't make this decision".
His first months at Inter couldn't have gone worse: "I have always been a footballer who gives everything, who always gives his all on and off the field. It makes me very sad right now that I could not do it for this great club that gave me a great opportunity. But forward always with faith in God".
Inter in January will go on the hunt for a replacement: among the first names on the list is Bruges’ Canadian outside back Tajon Buchanan.
