Virtus è already with the head to Thursday’s competition in Valencia

.

There'è little, in fact very little time for Virtus Bologna, first to sober up after the post-victory comeback win against Olympiacos, then to prepare for the next Euroleague match, scheduled for Thursday night (2:00 p.m. ball at 8:30 p.m.) at Pabellon Fuente De San Luis against Valencia, fresh from Tuesday night’s defeat (also on its own parquet) against Partizan.

Luca Banchi, coach of the Black Vu’s, asks for maximum effort from his team: "We face the match against Valencia aware that there are similarities with our previous opponents – he told the official channels of the company felsinea -, mainly related to physicalityà and consistency, which to date statistically makes Valencia the least beaten defense in the entire Euroleague’.

"Coach Mumbrú is giving continuityà to the previous season – added Banchi – proposing a very structured basketball that rarely concedes space to opponents, especially when on their court certain characteristics are enhanced. This game represents an important test, to prove themselves capable of producing a high-profile performance, the only way in search of a success that would be formidable within yet another challenging double-week".

Virtus Bologna has so far collected eleven wins and four losses in the first fifteen games of the 2023/24 Euroleague. An important roster, which places the Black Vu in second position behind only Real Madrid (which has won 14 games and lost only one). Before the end of the calendar year, in addition to the one against Valencia, there will be one more European challenge and await Virtus, the one on December 28 in Belgrade, against Partizan.
