The news was in the air but now it's official: Pallacanestro Olimpia Milano has announced that it has reached an agreement until the end of the season with Shabazz Napier, 1.83 point guard, born July 14, 1991 in Roxbury, Massachusetts, returning to Milan from Red Star Belgrade.

“Napier’s return è great news: we can now resume together a path that had been interrupted. We know what he will bring to the team, speed, leadership, enthusiasm and the knowledge of how we expect him to help the group”, says general manager Christos Stavropoulos.

“I am excited and happy to return to Milan. I am fortunate to return to the place where I had success and to be able to resume our journey together from where we interrupted it in June when we celebrated a great victory. I am happy to be able to play for the Olimpia fans again and I look forward to going out on the court and helping the team in any way I can” says Shabazz Napier.

Shabazz Napier è first in Connecticut history in games played, 143, second in triples scored, 260, and stolen balls, 251, è fourth in points scored, 1,959. He has a record 32 points in an NBA game, scored twice, once in Portland (against San Antonio) and once in Brooklyn (against Milwaukee). He also had an NBA triple-double in Minnesota (against Oklahoma City, 10 points, 13 assists, 10 rebounds).
