Alessandro Magro throws down the gauntlet to'Olimpia Milano

The defeat in Venice last Dec. 23 took away from Germani Brescia the satisfaction of the lone summit (now è shared just with Reyer), and to resume the race will be necessary to beat an opponent of the caliber of Olimpia Milano, which will try on Saturday to get closer in a ranking that currently sees the Red Shoes in fifth place.

Alessandro Magro, biancoblù coach, knows that we don&#39t have to care too much about being momentarily ahead of the reigning Italian champions: "Milano&#egrave; ranking is the result of all the problems they&#39ve had,” he told Germani Brescia official channels, “they have struggled to find their chemistry, changing players in important roles. I think it will beà a game in which we will have to try to put as much energy as possible hoping that Milan may have a little’ quickly have the gas tank empty".

"They don’t like to run so much and this will have to be from our side one of the strengths, not because’it’s congenial to do it but because’it’s part of our DNA,” Magro added. “We love to play at a high pace, we love to run and we will have to try to do that as much as possible. They reinstated a player they already know and who has a huge impact like Napier, who can be a creator for himself and others".

"Not è the best version of Milan so far, but being +24 in the Euroleague against that Baskonia, which has done soì well in the Euroleague so far, makes us understand what kind of team we will be facing. There is still one day left but we are looking forward to tomorrow to play this game and to do it in front of our audience to try to stay thereì in the standings" concluded the coach of the Brescians.
