Luca Banchi’s Virtus Bologna challenges Pesaro

After a stunning victory at home against Partizan Belgrade, Virtus Bologna is preparing for its next championship match, scheduled for Saturday night at 9 p.m. at the Virtus Segafredo Arena against Carpegna Prosciutto Pesaro. It is also an important match for the coach of the Vu Nere, Luca Banchi, who coached VL in the 2021-22 season, centering, in that season, the qualification to the playoffs.

"We face Pesaro, which, after the arrival of Andrea Cinciarini, has already proven to find momentum thanks to its experience and personality,‖ Banchi said during the match presentation, to the official channels of Virtus Bologna. We will have to be very careful, precise and cynical in the management of possessions and moments of the game".

"We have to know how to impose ourselves against opponents who have marked technical qualities – added Banchi, speaking again about the match between his team, the third strongest in the league, and Pesaro, which currently shares the tenth place with Tortona and Sassari -, proving once again that we know how to regenerate our energies, to offer a performance of substance and quality" despite the emergency".

The Black Vu, after thirteen league games, have 18 points in the standings (two less than the leaders, Reyer Venezia and Germani Brescia), the result of nine wins and four losses. The last league outing è that of last December 23 in Pistoia, a match that saw the Bolognese win 91-70.
