David Logan, sudden announcement: ‘I’m retiring from basketball’
A sudden announcement, in which the official farewell to basketball is made.
David Logan is retiring. He announced it è himself, with a quote that his agent John Foster decided to post on social media. The post reviews the player’s personal bulletin board, but makes no explicit reference to Givova Scafati. That is, the last club of his career, which had not authorized his trip to the United States that took place last Monday.
"At this point in my career, I think I have done everything I could do in basketball. I want to say thank you to my wife and children for supporting me over the years. I want to say thank you to my agent and every team that I have been a part of over the years. Often, when you think you are at the end of something, you are starting something else. I am retiring from the game I love", were Logan’s words.
David Logan, class of 1982, began his professional career right in Italy: in Pavia. After important experiences in Poland, Greece, Israel and Germany (later he would also play in France), he returnedò to our country in 2014 to serve in Dinamo Sassari. In Sardinia conquestò also the 2015 scudetto, before wearing the colors of Avellino, Treviso, Cantù and Scafati.
