On the heels of the 3-0 win over Valsa Group Modena, not good news is coming from the infirmary for Lube Volleyball regarding the condition of Ivan Zaytsev, who missed the last league match against the Emilians due to a muscle discomfort. The instrumental examinations to which the "Zar" underwent showed a second-degree muscle injury to the long adductor of the right thigh. 

"A.S. Volley Lube announces that in the morning the white-and-red athlete Ivan Zaytsev è underwent instrumental examinations following the discomfort felt on the eve of the championship match against Valsa Group Modena, an issue that prevented the Zar from taking part in the match.

“Magnetic resonance imaging showed a second-degree muscle injury to the’adductor longus of the right thigh – states Mariano Avio, health manager of the biancorosso club – è a delicate area" this is the statement issued by the Marche club.

The staff will monitorà the situation gradually, but the type of injury will keep the’athlete off the field for a few weeks.
