NBA: LA Lakers get the hang of it: beat Charlotte
Cleveland wins 14th race out of last 15 played
Lots of contests played on NBA night. Nice success of the LA Lakers who knocked out Charlotte (124-118), further improving their season record (27-25). Excellent Davis, author of a triple double (26 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists). Usual substantial performance by James, who put up 26 points, with also seven assists, in 40' on the court.
Without Embiid, Philadelphia surrenders to Dallas (118-112). Doncic doesn't particularly shine, stopping at "only" 19 points. Golden moment for Cleveland which, overcoming Sacramento (136-110), wins its 14th game out of the last 15 played (32-16 the current record of the Cavs who are now second in the East). Well done Mitchell who finished with 29 points and many decisive plays.
Weighty win also for LA Clippers: 149-144 against Atlanta (36 points by Leonard). The LA Clippers are now just one win away from OKC-Minnesota at the top of the West. With 29 points from a very focused Curry, Golden State got the better of its challenge with Brooklyn (109-98) while New Orleans knocked out Toronto, never in the game (138-100, 41 points from a fiery Ingram).
