Federica Brignone-Sofia Goggia, Sanremo controversy immediately debunked
Immediately debunked the controversy
Giulia Mancini, Federica Brignone’s manager, immediately shut down the controversy: "Just a time issue. Unfortunately, they didn't even let her speak. Unfortunately, these are TV times" she said, as read in the ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’.
On social media and elsewhere, many had pointed out that the Valle d’Aosta native, on stage at the Ariston theater, did not send a greeting to Sofia Goggia, who on Monday traumatically ended her competitive season and had to undergo yet another surgery in her troubled career.
Also confirming Mancini’s claim is the failure to mention the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics by both Federica and, most importantly, host Amadeus. "This è my helmet, to bring something of my sport, but skis and poles were too bulky" said among other things Brignone.
