After yellow and red è the blue card is coming

.

The IFAB (International Football Association Board) is about to launch another revolution in the world of soccer: after yellow and red, another card will be experimented with, not orange, as would have been chromatically logical, but blue.

The player sanctioned with this card will have to leave the field for ten minutes if found guilty of a tactical foul or when protesting. This is reported by the Telegraph, which also cites Chiellini’s conspicuous holding of Saka in the final of the last European Championships between Italy and England.

There will be ’expulsion “definitive” if a footballer receives” in the same match, in addition to two yellows, two blue cards, or one blue and one yellow. The first tests could begin next summer even for the first rounds of both the men’s and women’s FA Cup.

Red light, on the other hand, to remain in the chromatic sphere, as far as European competitions are concerned, at least for now, but should the tests be successful and should the blue card be included in the regulations it will have to be adopted in all competitions.
