Pecco Bagnaia closes tests ahead of everyone

On the third and final day of MotoGP testing in Sepang, Ducati’s Pecco Bagnaia dominated, also setting a new track record with a time of 1'56"682. The world champion was ahead of Jorge Martin and his teammate Enea Bastianini (+0"233). The Gresini Racing pair of Alex and Marc Marquez finished fourth and sixth, respectively.
The third day of testing è was characterized by a close challenge between Bagnaia and Martin. Martin recorded a time of 1'57"099, but Bagnaia responded with a new track record. At the end of the day, the rainbow held the first place with Martin following him just 172 thousandths behind.
In addition to Bagnaia’s performance, excellent indications also emerged for his teammate Bastianini, who è placed third. The Marquez brothers of Gresini Racing also achieved good results, with Alex è finishing fourth and Marc sixth. The next event will be the two-day test in Losail on Feb. 19 and 20, followed by the official start of the season in Qatar on March 8.
