A terrible accident è cost the life of Andrea Bergamelli, a centaur from Bergamo born in 1988. Disclosing the sad news è was the press office of the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, in which the rider was engaged on Saturday: the tragedy was accomplished at noon.
Bergamelli è was promptly rescued at the Cheste track, not far from Valencia, where he received first aid but è expired in the facility’s medical center.
“Ricardo Tormo Circuit deeply regrets the loss of Andrea Bergamelli and expresses its most heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and the Gully Racing'organization” reads the note issued on Saturday evening.
