Dustin Johnson’s triumph in Las Vegas
The second leg of the 2024 Arab Super League, the LIV Golf Las Vegas, was won by Dustin Johnson. The’former world No. 1 won the individual competition with 198 (67 62 69, -12) strokes narrowly edging out Talor Gooch (66 66 67) and Peter Uihlein (66 65 68), both on the podium by one stroke more’-11).
The feat in Nevada enabled Johnson to pocket $4,000,000 against a total prize pool of $20,000,000 to which must be added another $375,000 for the second place with obtained by his team, the "4Ages GC", in the team competition won by the "Smash GC" led by Brooks Koepka.
"It's a great win and è it came after three days of great play. I knew it would be tough, given the difficult weather conditions as well, but I made it" noted Johnson.
