Luis Muriel is leaving Italy to move to the United States, to Orlando City. The Colombian striker posted a video on the official website of Atalanta to say goodbye to the Dea fans before departing for the U.S.: "Dear Atalanta fans, I couldn't help but say goodbye and thank you before starting my new adventure in America".
"I would have liked to do it in person, but there’ve not been time to schedule a goodbye becauseé as soon as è the’ok arrived I had to leave to take medical examinations with my new club before signing. We will find a way to see each other in a not too long time when I return to Italy. Both I and the clubò want that. I wanted to però so much already now to thank you for the 4 and a half wonderful years I lived in Bergamo also thanks to you. You have always supported me and transmitted great affection and warmth. I felt loved as a footballer but also as a person. I will not forget itò never".
Muriel leaves Atalanta after five seasons and 54 goals in 143 games: "Together we experienced beautiful, unforgettable emotions and did great things in Europe and in Italy together with the Percassi family, coach Gasperini and all my wonderful teammates. Bergamo will always remain in my heart, like a second home".
