Ducati, Tardozzi: "Not è the real Marc Marquez"
Ducati team manager Davide Tardozzi has warned everyone about Marc Marquez, who did not particularly shine in the MotoGp tests in Sepang, on his real debut riding Team Gresini’s Ducati: "I just think he’s taking his time, he è one of the greatest in history".
"He's trying to figure out how to ride the bike to the max, and he hasn't shown us yet what he's really like. It's clear that his chances are higher than what we observed in Malaysia", Tardozzi told Crash.net.
Marc Marquez had expressed himself this way after the tests: "The’goal was to understand the bike as much as possible and step by step we are improving. We suffer a little bit more at the time attack level, where maybe we work more by instinct, but also from this point of view we made some steps forward in the day-3".
"From the second day on, we started to have some fun’ on the bike even though I still don’t feel it is mine. I have to take off 11 years of habits on another bike and it will take some more time, but the progression è was good and we have to be satisfied with this first test on a track never really mine”.
