A new single-seater toward which expectations are very high.
Carlos Sainz frames the Ferrari SF-24, the last single-seater the Cavallino will drive in Formula 1 before handing over the baton in 2025 to Lewis Hamilton. The Spanish driver has però wanted to emphasize not only his great determination to do well in the upcoming season, but also the potential of a car towards which curiosity è è many. Not least because of some features that seem reminiscent of the dominant Red Bull of 2023.
"This car certainly has elements inspired by Red Bull, as well as by Mercedes or Aston Martin,” Sainz pointed out to the microphones of 'DAZN' -But in Formula 1 it always happens like that. You go and take with tweezers what works. There are però also purely Ferrari ideas, which you cannot see with the naked eye but which will give us so much in terms of performance. Our engineers have innovated a lot, and this car è so different from the 2023 car when really beautiful".
Less than many rivals, but the Ferrari on the track in 2024 will also be very black. One feature Sainz è wanted to dwell on: "Everyone is using colors sparingly on the bodywork. And that shows how any team is trying everything to lighten the weight".
