With Elio e le Storie Tese musical prelude to Softball World Cup
After the success of the tour in theaters, with more than 40 sold-out dates that excited and entertained more than 60 thousand spectators, this summer Elio e Le Storie Tese are again bringing the show ‘Mi resta un solo dente e cerco di riavvitarlo’ to Italian stages.
The most irreverent and irreverent band of Italian music, beloved by a transgenerational audience, thus continues its journey in the most suggestive summer venues with the reunion tour, which will touchà Friuli Venezia Giulia as well, on the occasion of the Softball World Cup, with the scheduled date in Palmanova, a city that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Frierdì July 12 starting at 9 pm:30 in Piazza Grande, as part of the ‘Summer of Stars’ event, which for years has hosted in the starry city the biggest names in Italian and international music and entertainment.
The date è organized by Zenit, in collaboration with Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia, Città di Palmanova, PromoTurismoFVG and Italian Baseball Softball Federation, as the ideal launch of the final phase of the Softball World Cup, scheduled in Castions di Strada (Udine) from July 15 to 20. A perfect marriage between EELST and the Olympic-female version of the diamond sport, the band’s favorite discipline.
FIBS President, Andrea Marcon, explained: “We could not imagine a better prelude to the Softball World Cup, which will see the Azzurre; on the field engaged against the best teams in the world, from the United States to Japan, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Holland. In addition, it should be pointed out that, tired of Elio and Faso’s constant incursions into our sports activities, we thought we would take revenge and return the favor by slipping into organizing a leg of the tour ‘I only have one tooth left and I’m trying to screw it back in’. Obviously a summer leg and outdoors, as outdoors is where baseball and softball are played.”
The Mayor of Palmanova Giuseppe Tellini: “A new Summer of Stars will make the nights in Piazza Grande special. we announce to you an incredible news: in the summer revival of the show “I have only one tooth left and I try to ‘rewire it’”, the drummer will not beà Christian Meyer!!! Asked about the reasons for his defection, Meyer said: “Elio e Le Storie Tese are the most important experience of my life, I am bound to the group by tender and fond memories, I would give my life for every single member of the band, but I am unable to participate in this exciting new adventure. In fact, my well-known passion for pine nuts has led me to an excessive consumption of non-Italian pine nuts, now widespread in our country, consumption that can cause unpredictable and undesirable effects, as è happened to me. Such effects will prevent me from participating in the summer show of Elio e Le Storie Tese, but I will be ò ready to get back in the saddle after following a balanced diet of honey, cocoa beans and prickly pears’
