Europa League draw: Milan lucky, Roma draws De Zerbi. Atalanta-Sporting

The draws for the Europa League round of 16 were held in Nyon: three Italian teams involved, Atalanta, Milan and Roma. The Bergamaschi drew Sporting of Lisbon: the first leg match, scheduled in Portugal, è was brought forward to Tuesday, March 5 due to the concurrence of the Benfica match.

Lucky match for AC Milan, which will challenge Slavia Prague for a place in the Europa League quarterfinals: it could hardly have gone better for Pioli’s men, fresh from their success against Rennes in the playoffs.

Instead, it will be tough for Daniele De Rossi’s Roma, drawn with Roberto De Zerbi’s fearsome Brighton. The Giallorossi will take on the Englishmen at the Stadio Olimpico in the first leg, while the return leg will be held in England
