Lazio has announced in statement published on its official website the contract extension of its goalkeeper, Ivan Provedel. It è not specified until when but the renewal è until 2027.
“S.S. Lazio è is pleased to announce the contract renewal of Ivan Provedel. Arrived in the capital in’August 2022, in a short time the 1994 class extreme defender has è carved out, to the sound of hard work and high performance, a leading role within the formation led by coach Sarri”.
“He ended his first year in biancoceleste with a total of 45 appearances and 22 clean sheets, also receiving the award as MVP – Best Goalkeeper of Serie A TIM 2022/2023”.
“His second season è started in an extraordinary way, to say the least: his winning header on the first day of the Champions League against’Atletico Madrid” will remain in club history.
“Meanwhile, the figure for the number of matches finished with the goal rolled è rose to 45 after yesterday’s convincing 2-0 away win against Torino, a match within which he’was once again noted for his valuable interventions and careful guidance of the entire backline”.
A 29-year-old born in Pordenone, Provedel has made his way up through the ranks with Pisa, Perugia, Modena, Pro Vercelli and Empoli, with whom he è rose from B to A, playing his first season in the top division in 2018-2019. After being relegated again, he moved to Juve Stabia, then returned to Serie A in 2020 for a two-year stint at Spezia. Finally, the’landing at Lazio.
