The Los Angeles Lakers, currently ninth and eager to move up in the standings to avoid the Play-In zone, scored an important victory against the San Antonio Spurs 123-118, with LeBron James scoring 30 points and Anthony Davis contributing 28 points and 13 rebounds. Despite an excellent performance by the Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama, with 27 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 wicks, it wasn't enough to get the win.

Kevin Durant made history by becoming the ninth-leading scorer in NBA history, surpassing Carmelo Anthony with 28 points in the match against the Houston Rockets. However, his team, the Phoenix Suns, suffered a 114-110 loss to the Rockets, dragged by Fred VanVleet’s 23 points and Jabari Smith Jr.’s double-double with 22 points and 16 rebounds.

The Golden State Warriors had an easy win against the Charlotte Hornets, winning 97-84, with Steph Curry scoring 15 points. The Warriors currently find themselves in 10th place in the Western Conference, the last place to play at least the Play-In.

The Philadelphia 76ers got a valuable home win against the Cleveland Cavaliers, winning 104-97, with Tyrese Maxey scoring 24 points. The Miami Heat also won, topping the New Orleans Pelicans 106-95, thanks to the duo of Jimmy Butler (23 points) and Bam Adebayo (24). Finally, the Toronto Raptors defeated the Atlanta Hawks 123-121, with Immanuel Quickley scoring 24 points.
