The Boston Celtics are sure as of tonight to end the Nba regular season with the best record ever. Their convincing triumph against the Oklahoma City Thunder, by a score of 135-100, propels them to a 60-16 season mark, with only six games remaining. No one will be able to snatch the lead from them, with Minnesota, Denver and OKC itself having no more chances to approach them. È was a decisive fourth period, with a 42-17 partial in favor of the Celtics, while the trio consisting of Porzingis (27 points and 12 rebounds), Tatum (24 points) and Brown (23 points) scored an impressive 74 points.

Behind Boston, the situation in the East è far from settled. The Milwaukee Bucks suffered a surprising home loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, despite 35 points from Jaren Jackson Jr. They seem not to have fully benefited from Doc Rivers'arrival. Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers failed to reach second place, losing on the road to the Phoenix Suns, led by Booker’s 40 points and Durant’s 32. Paolo Banchero, with his 32 points, also dragged the Orlando Magic to victory against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Among the other teams, the Atlanta Hawks secured their spot in the play-in game thanks to Jalen Johnson’s triple-double, while the Brooklyn Nets topped the Indiana Pacers. The evening closed with the Minnesota Timberwolves dominating the Toronto Raptors and the Los Angeles Lakers winning against the Washington Wizards thanks to LeBron James and Anthony Davis. In addition, the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Charlotte Hornets with a great showing from third overall pick Scoot Henderson, who put up 22 points, 10 assists and an impressive 9/16 from the field.
