Ducati centaur Nicolò Bulega celebrated his victory in race-1 of the Superbike round in Australia: the Aruba.it Racing Ducati team rider signed a true masterpiece on his Superbike debut, becoming among other things the first Supersport champion to win his debut race in SBK. Bulega preceded the other two Italians Locatelli and Iannone.

"Maybe è it was the best day of my life. È still hard to believe, è unbelievable. I dreamed about it for so many months and now è reality. I took pole position, won in my first race and set the record lap. Something special that I will never forget", he said very excitedly.

"After the race I cried, it was good emotions, I saw my boys with a big smile on the finish line. È it was good for me. My team è like a second family, they always believed in me. When I came from Moto2 I was in a bad moment and they believed in me. We are in our third year together and we started really well, I thank them".

The goals don’t change: "We are only at the first race and the championship è long, there are many races to run still. I just want to have fun and then we’ll see what I can do in the next races".
