Another crushing victory to confirm dominance over the championship.

Inter was also unstoppable in Lecce, where Simone Inzaghi’s Nerazzurri picked up a 4-0 win without a fuss, and which allows the Serie A leader to keep its 9-point lead over second-placed Juventus (which, moreover, also played a game more). For the meneghina team è the tenth win in a row between league and cups, on the shields once again Lautaro Martinez: for the captain double and goals number 100 and 101 in Serie A in the Nerazzurri jersey. After Nyers and Icardi è the third foreigner to achieve this in history.

The trip to the Salento land set off in the best of ways for Inter already in the very first minutes: after a thrill caused by Almqvist, Lautaro Martinez himself unblocked the result at 15' taking advantage in the best way of Asllani's assist. Sansone, Piccoli and Gallo try to scare Audero (on his league debut in place of Sommer), while the guests are dangerous with Mkhitaryan. In the finale again Samson challenges Audero, who gets away with a few shivers.

If the first half proves vibrant, in the second half come the fireworks. In the first minutes Blin on one side and Dimarco on the other are dangerous, but to score è Frattesi. He does it at 54', thanks to Sanchez's initiative but also to a misunderstanding between Baschirotto and Touba. Already at 56' Lautaro Martinez completes the double thanks to a scramble in the open field by Frattesi who serves him the most convenient of assists. Lecce did not disappear from the match and tried with Piccoli and Banda, but at 68' De Vrij closed the score for good with a great header on a corner taken by Dimarco.
