Italy full score: Hungary beaten, Gianmarco Pozzecco exalts group

And in the aftermath of the game, head coach Gianmarco Pozzecco stressed the merits of a team that was able to make a seemingly simple challenge anything but a foregone conclusion.

"Ours è was a really good game,” Pozzecco pointed out.

Our concentration was maximum, as è is obvious, but especially in the first part of the game there'è was a bit of fatigue. But we fought in all situations and from the defensive point of view we were really tough. In the third quarter, simply, Italy did not allow Hungary to score".

"We created problems for Hungary for the whole game. On offense we were good at making the right decision at all times, including when it was inside or outside play. All these details make me really happy and proud of what these guys did", Pozzecco added.
