Roma-Torino 3-2

Roma defeats Torino 3-2 in the first of the two Monday postponements of the twenty-sixth day of Serie A. Great protagonist of the match at the Olimpico è Paulo Dybala, author of all three of the Giallorossi goals in what è was the second consecutive success in the league, fifth in six A games in the De Rossi management.

A balanced first half, even in the score

.

Right away the Giallorossi were dangerous, with Kristensen hitting the post on 9'. The Toro loses Lovato to injury on 14' (in his place there'è Sazonov) but holds its own and, in an orderly manner, does not seem to suffer more than a little from the pressure of the home team. Shortly before halftime, however, the match was unblocked: Sazonov himself intervened on Azmoun just inside the area, referee Sacchi (after Var verification) assigned the penalty which Dybala converted at 42'for the 1-0.

The Granata do not flinch and take just two minutes to equalize: Bellanova crosses toward the center of the area, Zapata hits a header and the ball goes past Svilar, who seemed a bit late. So it goes to halftime on the score of 1-1, a result that reflects a substantially balanced fraction.

Paulo Dybala takes the stage

Things changed in the second half: Roma immediately seemed more eager to get to the goal and succeeded on 58', with a magic from 25 yards by Paulo Dybala that left Vanja Milinkovic-Savic no chance and made it 2-1 for the Giallorossi. The goal was followed by coaching moves: Juric inserted Ricardo Rodriguez for Lazaro at 62', De Rossi responded with Lukaku, Spinazzola and Bove in place of Azmoun, Angeliño and Paredes two minutes later.

Precisely one of the new entrants, Lukaku, inspires the 3-1 goal, which arrives at 69': the Belgian exchanges with Dybala and allows him to get in face-to-face with Milinkovic-Savic, 'La Joya' does not miss and makes the Olimpico explode. It's 3-1 and the games would seem to be closed.

Huijsen's own goal animates the final

.

Roma’s coach tries to cover up: inside Huijsen and Renato Sanches for Smalling and Lorenzo Pellegrini between 78' and 86' in between there are the last three granata changes with Linetty, Okereke and Ilic replacing Gineitis, Sanabria and Masina. To come out better from the round of changes è Toro, which shortens at the 89'89': Ricci puts in a low cross that finds the unfortunate deflection of Huijsen, Svilar è caught against time and the ball goes in the goal for the 3-2.

Inevitable the Granata onslaught in the following minutes: not enough forò five and change of recovery to find what would have been a resounding draw, Roma leaves the field a bit winded but wins three very important points to continue to aspire to qualification in the Champions League.
