Julio Zeppieri declares forfeit for U.S. trip

It's an early end to Giulio Zeppieri's cement season. After a very positive start to 2024, the Italian tennis player was injured during qualifying for the Dubai ATP 500. The player, in fact, will be forced to skip the two American Masters 1000 in Indian Wells and Miami due to a muscle injury. Through a post on his instagram profile, in addition, the player updated fans about his condition. 

"Hi guys. Unfortunately you will not see me on the field these weeks. I hurt myself at the’ATP 500 in Dubai: it is a right adductor injury. I will miss the trip to the United States. We have already started the’procedure to recover, I hope to be back soon. Thanks for the’affection and support you give me" this is the message of the Roman tennis player class 2001.

Zeppieri will have to stay in the pits for about a month, with the hope of being able to return to the court as early as April for the first tournaments on European clay, with the big goal of arriving in top condition for the Internazionali d'Italia.
