Curtain up: Movimelzo presents the second edition of the 3V3 Cage tournament

This year again, the Movimelzo boys will organize the 3V3 Gabbia tournament at the Palm Fair in Melzo, a city in the province of Milan. The competition, as in 2023, will be held in Piazza della Vittoria, where the special structure consisting of retaining nets, synthetic bottom, small gates and sides will be mounted.

The big event will be structured as follows: on Friday, March 22, the local trapper Bvlls will perform, followed by a performance by the Melzo Rhythmic team, and at 7 p.m. the women’s tournament is scheduled to kick off, concluding at approximately 10 p.m. On Saturday, March 23, plenty of space for the men’s tournament: the boys will compete from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and before the finals there will be a show by the dance academy Puppet's Family. There is great anticipation as to whether the Rodano Team, defending champions and captained by Matteo Perrotti, a soccer player who plays in Serie D among the ranks of Villa Valle, will participate to try to reconfirm themselves.

The morning and early afternoon of Sunday will be dedicated to the youngest: local clubs US Melzo and Monsignor Orsenigo will take turns in the cage to entertain the very young through mini-games and friendly matches. From 6 p.m. there will be a calciotennis tournament: the Bernabovi-Lunghi duo will have to defend the title they won last year but it will be anything but easy: fierce competition is expected.

"We are delighted to be able to propose the tournament again, we want to thank the Municipal Administration for confirming the trust given to us last year. In the last edition we had an unexpected success, the hope è to repeat again this year: the hope of our association è always to be able to involve as many people as possible" said the guys from Movimelzo.
