To Fluminense the Recopa Sudamericana
Fluminense won its first Recopa Sudamericana, the equivalent of the European Super Cup, which pits the winner of the Copa Libertadores and the Copa Sudamericana against each other.
The Brazilians, holders of the Libertadores, beat Liga Quito, a team from the capital of Ecuador, 2-0 in the return match played at the Maracanà.
Fluminense è managed to overturn the 1-0 defeat of the first leg last week, thanks to a brace by Colombian Jhon Arias in the second half.
