After Melbourne, many believe in an encore.

Jannik Sinner at the Australian Open captured the first Grand Slam tournament of his still young career, and more and more insiders are expecting an encore relatively soon. Prominent among them are several colleagues, including Andy Murray. The Scot did not è hide, even calling the South Tyrolean prodigy the big favorite for this year's edition of Wimbledon.

"I am convinced that Sinner will get great results si any surface, also because of the way he hits the ball,” Murray said in an interview for the 'Gazzetta dello Sport' -Maybe at the moment he gives his best on concrete, and on grass you have to move a little differently. But his game makes me think he will do very well indeed at Wimbledon. I saw the Australian Open final, and he è was great to come back up from the position he was in and win the match. That è was his first Slam, and I’m sure more will come soon".

Murray also added that the new generation of tennis players canò progressively get to the level of Federer, Nadal and Djokovic, but not right away: "To create this kind of new situation takes time. I am not saying it is possible, quite the contrary. But Sinner, Alcaraz, Rune and others should dominate tennis for five, six, seven years in a row. Fans expect such a scenario, but we have to wait. The sure thing è that many of these young guys have the skill to pull it off. I think the possibility is there, especially with Sinner and Alcaraz".
