The overall World Cup standings see Switzerland’s Lara Gut firmly in the lead with 1594 points ahead of Brignone with 1268, third is the U.S. Mikaela Shiffrin, who will return to the slalom race but is not yet sure of making the giant slalom. Among the wide gates Gut è leads with 685 points to Brignone’s 550, in slalom everything is already decided with Shiffrin leading with 630 ahead of the injured Petra Vlhova with 505.
In Kranjska Gora, on the other hand, the men’s giant slalom that was supposed to be held on Saturday è was cancelled due to high temperatures, so only the slalom will be held, which from Sunday will be brought forward to Saturday and in which Tobias Kastlunger, Filippo Della Vite, Alex Vinatzer, Stefano Gross, Giuliano Razzoli and Tommaso Sala will take part.
