Serie B: ten disqualified, maxi-fines for Cosenza and Catanzaro

The sports judge has released the disciplinary measures after the 28th day of Serie B. Ten players have been disqualified, including as many as three from Cosenza, which will have to do without Michael Venturi, Tommaso D'Orazio and Simone Mazzocchi in the match against Cittadella. As far as the clubs are concerned, the two Calabrian teams, namely Cosenza and Catanzaro, were the ones who suffered the most, as they were given financial penalties of 15,000 and 12,000 euros, respectively.

COSENZA for having its supporters, during the match, throwing numerous smoke bombs in a sector occupied by the opposing fans, for having also thrown, in the playing area, numerous firecrackers and fifteen smoke bombs; penalty mitigated ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS.

Fine of € 12,000.00: to Soc. CATANZARO for having its supporters, during the match, throwing numerous smoke bombs in a sector occupied by the opposing fans, for having also thrown, in the playing area, some firecrackers and four smoke bombs; attenuated penalty ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS.

Fine of € 7,000.00: to Soc. VENEZIA for having its supporters, at 38° of the first half, launched a smoke bomb into a sector occupied by the opposing fans; for having also, during the course of the match, launched a firecracker on the field of play and in the enclosure three firecrackers; penalty mitigated ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS.

Fine of € 1,500.00: to Soc. ASCOLI for having its supporters, at the 50° of the second half, launched a firecracker into the playing area; penalty mitigated ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS.

Fine of € 1,500.00: to Soc. SAMPDORIA for having its supporters, during the match, launched a firecracker and two smoke bombs in the playing area; penalty mitigated ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS.
