Juventus, Adrien Rabiot stalls on renewal
The Frenchman’s contract expires at the end of the current season
Upon his arrival at Juventus (2019/20 season), Rabiot had several difficulties. The first two seasons were negative. Then a decent year, followed by a major change of pace. Since last championship, the Frenchman è became a pillar of the bianconeri. A leader who, però has his contract expiring at the end of what è will be his fifth season in Turin, bianconera side.
There has been talk, for some time, of his contract renewal but, at the moment, everything è on stand-by. Juventus would be ready to sign him to a two-year contract at seven million euros a season but the Frenchman's entourage, including his mother, would be stalling and, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Rabiot's response could come after the European Championship.
Not an easy situation for Juventus, which, after losing Pogba (four-year disqualification), risks losing, on a zero-parameter basis, Rabiot as well. So many clubs have set their eyes on him, particularly from the rich Premier League. Should he say goodbye, Giuntoli would still have an alternative pair. The hottest name remains that of Koopmeiners, a Dutch midfielder on loan to Atalanta, valued at no less than 40/45 million euros.
