MotoGP, Marc Marquez keeps low profile
On the eve of the new season, Marc Marquez cools the enthusiasm of those who imagine him as an immediate protagonist on the Ducati of the Gresini team.
"This winter I have been focusing on myself to adapt my riding style to the bike,” Marquez said.
I need to improve and learn from the other Ducati riders. I don’t feel ready yet to fight for podiums and wins, we will see step by step".
"From the beginning I had support from Ducati management. È obvious that the relationship must be good, otherwise I would never have signed. I have always felt great respect – added the former Honda rider – I know what è happened to me in the last four years, it takes time”.
“In the last two years I have not won a single race. I have to create a base and learn from riders faster than me, from Pecco and Jorge. There will be ups and downs, we will have to be consistent over time”, concluded the Spanish star.
