The event è organized by Master Group Sport the company that, in collaboration with the Naples Tennis Club, which is hosting the event, has accepted the challenge of bringing international tennis back to the city, thus offering its experience in organizing sports events and its considerable organizational contribution to Italian tennis, and to the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation, which, with the Davis Cup and Jannik Sinner’s victories at the Australian Open, is experiencing the highest moment in its history. A challenge that Master Group Sport and the Naples Tennis Club want to continue over the years, growing in prize money and in the quality of the event, as the city of Naples has shown it deserves, in terms of participation, public attendance and overflowing passion for tennis.

The technical value of the Naples Tennis Cup è remarkable, strengthened by two absolute excellences of the’entry list. These are, first and foremost, the Austrian Dominic Thiem, now No. 91 Atp, but world No. 3 in 2020, with a US Open victory and two finals at Roland Garros to make his already rich palmares special. Also standing out on the entry list with him is Fabio Fognini, Italy’s No. 1 for years and the world’s top ten in 2019, the year he won the prestigious Monte Carlo tournament. Fognini has a special feeling with Naples: in 2014 at TC Napoli itself he led Italy to the Davis Cup semifinals with his victories, beating Andy Murray’s Great Britain.
