Stefano Pioli spoke on the eve of Slavia Prague-Milan

The 4-2 win in the first leg invites optimism, but given the risks taken in Rennes in the previous round Stefano Pioli does not want to leave anything to chance and asks his team for maximum attention in Prague, where Milan will seek a pass to the quarterfinals of the Europa League against Slavia. The Parma coach spoke to 'Milan Tv', introducing the challenge at the Eden Arena, scheduled for Thursday at 6:45 p.m.

Pioli: "No need for frenzy, but not too much tranquility either "

"We are living a particular moment of this season, tomorrow night the imperative è to pass the round – said Pioli -. In the first leg we found a good lead, although we were not very satisfied with the second half of that game. We have to be determined and attentive, we want qualification".

On the approach to the match, the Rossoneri coach has clear ideas: "We do not need frenzy, but not too much tranquility either. We simply have to play as we know, with the rhythm suitable for European matches, full of frontal reversals. They said they will play the part of life? So will we. We have to be team until the end".

"Convinced of our chances" we want to go through"

Speaking about the opponents, Pioli explained: "Slavia Prague will definitely put all their qualities on the field and they will try to take advantage of the environment, as in the whole season they have lost at home only once. We are convinced of our chances, we want to pass the round and move forward in the Europa League".

"I expect a similar atmosphere as in Rennes"

It is difficult to expect an easy match: "I think the atmosphere will be similar to that of Rennes,” said the Milan coach. On the pitch, the opposing players will be on every ball and will try to play with great verticality. We, in this sense, will have to take advantage of the spaces available, but we have to make the right choices".
