Luca Nardi doesn’t concede encore after Novak Djokovic
Luca Nardi è out
Luca Nardi è failed to make it past the round of 16 at the "BNP Paribas Open", the first ATP Masters 1000 of the season, held at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in California. Despite his efforts, the 20-year-old from Pesaro, ranked #123 in the ATP rankings, è was defeated in two sets with a score of 6-4, 6-3.
The match è lasted only one hour and twenty minutes against the U.S. Tommy Paul, who occupies the number 17 position in the ranking and seeding of the tournament. Nardi è failed to repeat the performance that allowed him on Monday to surprisingly eliminate world number one Novak Djokovic.
Nardi can console himself, however, and not only by thinking back to the feat with the legendary Serb: thanks to the points won, è virtually no.96 ATP, touching up his “best ranking” (no.106 ATP), with his debut in the top hundred.
