Lazio, off to the aftermath of Maurizio Sarri: agreement found with Igor Tudor
The new coach è has been chosen, and will start a real revolution.
Lazio to Igor Tudor, but not immediately. This is the decision of the biancoceleste club, hunting for the heir to the resigning Maurizio Sarri. Claudio Lotito’s decision è came after a meeting on Thursday evening at Villa San Sebastiano, with the presence also of biancoceleste sporting director Angelo Fabiani and Anthony Seric, the Croatian coach’s agent.
As explained by 'Sky Sport', Tudor will sit on the Lazio bench only after the match against Frosinone. On that occasion, as expected, guiding the biancocelesti will be Sarri's former deputy, namely Giovanni Martusciello. Only in the following week, then, will take off the management of the former Marseille coach. With a clean break with the past.
Tudor, who, according to 'Sky' will sign a contract until June 30, 2025 with an option for the following season, in fact has a practically opposite idea of soccer than that of Sarri. There will thus be a shift from the zone to a game set by man-to-man marking, but presumably also from a strictly four-man defense to a three-man defense.
