Here are Lisa Vittozzi’s statements to fisi.org immediately after crossing the finish line of the Canmore mass start in 21st place, a placing that allows her to win the overall biathlon World Cup for the first time in her career.

Lisa Vittozzi, a 29-year-old from Sappada, Friuli, in addition to the World Cup generle this year won the specialty trophies in the pursuit and individual and at the World Championships in Nove Mesto she won gold in the individual and silver in the pursuit, mass start and mixed individual relay.
