Davis Cup: drawn the rounds
At the ITF offices in London, the draw for the 2024 Davis Cup groupings was held. The Italy of defending champion Filippo Volandri è was placed in Group A with Holland, defeated in the quarterfinals in the last edition, Brazil and Belgium. Jannik Sinner and teammates will return to the court at the Unipol Arena in Bologna from Sept. 10 to 15.
In Group B there'è Australia, defeated by the Azzurri themselves last year in the final, with Czech Republic, France and Spain. Group C è consists of Germany, the United States, Slovakia and Chile, while Group D features Canada, Finland, a surprise semifinalist in last year's edition, Great Britain, which was granted a wild card by the ITF, and Argentina.
