Having archived his first race weekend riding the Ducati Desmosedici Gp23 of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team, Fabio Di Giannantonio wants to restart from the good seventh place of the Qatar Grand Prix and, if possible, improve further next weekend in Portimao, a track that the Roman likes not a little.

"The balance of the weekend in Qatar è overall positive – said Di Giannantonio, speaking to the official channels of the team founded by Valentino Rossi -. We had some little problems, but this did not prevent us from being fast and competitive. We will continue to work hard with the team here in Portimao".

"It's a beautiful, wonderful track – added the 1998-class rider speaking about the Autodromo dell'Algarve – A real roller coaster, very demanding also on a physical level. We must not be in a hurry, we are doing well, we must continue to grow, the top 5 can be a goal within reach".

Di Giannantonio è in his third year in MotoGp, his first in VR46 after two on the Ducati of the Gresini Racing team. The first year è was transitional (best result the eighth place in Germany), while in 2023, after a difficult start, the Roman è emerged in the last races, even winning the Grand Prix of Qatar, which in 2023 represented the penultimate round of the season.
