Julyì c’è Lube-Itas

The Italian vice-champions Cucine Lube Civitanova charge ahead of the CEV Champions League return semifinal at the Eurosuole Forum. On Thursday, 21, the red-and-white team will take the court at full fire in the hunt for a comeback against Trentino Itas.

On the strength of the 3-1 win on their own court on Wednesday, March 13, Fabio Soli’s Dolomites go to Marche with the goal of winning the two sets that would guarantee a pass to the Continental Final. Chicco Blengini’s men, on the other hand, need to close out the match 3-0 or 3-1 and impose themselves in the subsequent Golden Set in order to fuel the match.

"It will be a ‘life-or-death’ match as was the one won in the tie break with Monza last Sunday in the Play Offs. It will è be seen how much the totality of the team matters, not just who starts. We need the whole group and every energy to overturn the Champions League Semifinal against a rival fielding the backbone of the Italian national team" said Zaytsev.

"We have nothing to lose and we will take the court with the enthusiasm sparked by Sunday’s victory. We will not have to manage the game, but it will be a test of attack. This match is worth the pass to the Continental Final and we will try all the way" added the Marche’s setter.
